About me

I'm Rob Anderson and the first time I picked up a camera, I immediately fell in love with the potential to capture life as it happens.

I started out taking photos over 30 years ago using a manual-focus film SLR camera and today I'm using the latest in mirrorless cameras. While the technology has changed, the aesthetics of a picture have not.

I love how photographs can capture moments in people's lives and the emotions that they are feeling at the time. I love how you can relive those moments in your mind when looking at photographs.

Over the years, I have honed my craft and I have really focussed on capturing real moments, good or bad. My photographs have been published in magazines, newspapers, and photography sites across the world.

The power of photographs cannot be overstated. I have a passion to provide people with real and honest memories. And it's this passion that I bring with me when I come to photograph your wedding.

To me, being a wedding photographer is not just about taking photos. I am very much a people person and I find it a unique privilege to be a part of your special day in this way. You've entrusted me with something very special and it's not something that I take lightly.

I take great pride in always pushing myself to get better at my craft. I am a perfectionist in everything I do. It's this drive and determination that I take into your wedding, so that I can capture it in a beautiful manner.

I am very good at reading people and situations. As such, I do my best to not add anymore stress to your day. It's your day to be happy and to celebrate and I want to help you enjoy it.

If I have to describe myself in three words, it's 'relaxed, yet professional'. I bring my easy-going personality and my drive for improvement into everything I do, including your wedding.

I'm not interested in capturing the 'perfect' photo; instead I aim to perfectly capture the many imperfect moments that make up life.
